Composite doors

A composite door is designed to appear as a wooden door, with an attractive wood grain, but thanks to the materials used, it won't fade, discolour or require any maintenance beyond wiping with a damp cloth if it gets dirty. Composite doors have a higher thermal resistance than wooden doors, due to the insulating foam core.

Composite doors are made up from a variety of materials, including PVC, wood, insulating foam and GRP (glass reinforced plastic). The combination of materials result in a door that is very strong and secure.

We use a high security multi point lock with lock bolts at the top and bottom and a mortise lock in the centre. The lock keeps are secured to the outer frame through the steel reinforcement and also through 2 thicknesses of upvc. The locking system meets the requirements of “SECURED BY DESIGN”, a police initiative.

There is a broad choice of door styles and glass designs, to suit all styles of homes. There is also a range of colour options, for the outer leaves and the internal side can be white or coloured. Complimenting the door is an attractive suite of furniture, handles, hinges, drip rails, door knockers and spy holes all available in a variety of finishes.

Composite doors are available, installed with a choice of door furniture from around £600, please contact us for an individual quote.
